Revivogen Overview

Revivogen is an all-natural, dermatologist-developed, topical hair loss treatment that claims to work as a DHT blocker. However, unlike Propecia, another DHT blocker that is in tablet form for men, Revivogen can be used by both men and women. The main ingredients in this product have been shown to reduce the production of DHT by blocking the active enzyme 5-alpha reductase. This enzyme is responsible for converting testosterone to DHT. By reducing DHT’s harmful effects on hair follicles, weakened and thinning hairs become thicker and stronger. Other ingredients in Revivogen block the angrogen receptor and stimulate hair growth. As a topical treatment the effects of this product are concentrated on the scalp.

Like many other hair loss treatments Revivogen is not FDA approved.

Is Revivogen Safe?

Revivogen is for external use only and can be used by both men and women. As an all-natural product it does not have the same side effects that can occur with other hair loss medications. However, some redness and irritation of the skin is normal, but discontinue use if irritation persists. Contact a medical professional if accidentally ingested.

How to use Revivogen

Revivogen Scalp Therapy Formula should be shaken well. Apply 1 ml of solution to the affected area once daily. Massage the solution gently into the scalp for 10-20 seconds and allow it to remain without washing or rinsing for at least 3 hours. Another product called Revivogen Bio-cleansing Shampoo is available that cleanses the scalp removing sebum and DHT, but is not effective by itself. A Revivogen Thickening Conditioner is also available formulated to invigorate limp and thinning hair.

Revivogen Results

Revivogen is effective for the treatment of hair loss, especially for those individuals in the early stages of hair loss. In these situations you can expect to stop further hair loss and regain most of the hairs lost during the past three to five years.

Within the first 6-8 weeks of using Revivogen you can expect a significant reduction in hair loss. With continued use hair quality will improve and regrowth will occur as early as 6 months. Best results will show at 12-18 months. You should continue using Revivogen to retain the benefits as the body continually produces DHT. However, once you're satisfied that maximum results have been obtained, daily use can be reduced to several times a week for maintenance.
