I am 32 years old and have been losing my hair since my early 20's. I was told this was hereditery. As parts of my scalp became VERY visible, i started to lose hope. Then, for the hell of it, i decided to try Rogaine again. I tried it several years ago, but gave up after 2 months. READ THE LABEL. It takes 4+ months before you see results! Naturally, you will see NO growth if you give up immediately. Anyway, while this product requires patience, I stuck with it and I have now grown nearly ALL of my hair back and am not shedding anymore. I tried all sorts of things before and this is truly amazing. I can even go outside with wet hair because you can't see my scalp anymore! I just want to say to all of you out there--please, give it a shot for a bit longer. Try it for 6 months or a year and you'll see! I understand that you have to always use it to keep the new growth, but come on, especially women--isn't that a small price to pay for our confidence?? This stuff is truly amazing, really. Want a shocker?? I've only been using the extra strength version for men once per day. LOVE IT!!!

My hair started to become incredibly thin and recide a fair bit in the front. I used Rogaine for 12 months as part of a laser therapy program which cost close to $6000. The product thickened the crown areas and the top a little bit, but did nothing for my recedding fringe. I've done a bit of research and even the product website has said it wont dont a thing for a receding hairline. Also, the side effects included dizziness, and a huge drop in libido and sexual performance as well as an extremely itchy head. I would look around before considering this product or use it in conjunction with another product.

It worked great, I regrew most of all my hair back but after 1 1/2 years DHT caught up to me and my hair started to get thinner and I started Proscar cut into 4, been on Proscar now for 3 months and hair loss has stopped and I should be regrowing and thickening soon.

I started using Rogaine for women about 5 or 6 years ago because my hair had become thin around the crown. In fact, I had been getting permanents regularly so my hair would look full. Since I have been using Rogaine my hair is beautiful!!! At 60 I still have a full head of hair --- no permanents needed to look great. I use Rograine every time I wash my hair which is generally every day. This product has made such a difference --- my hair dresser tells her other customers! Thanks. Mary

I have finished one bottle of Regaine (5%) and experienced side effects like scalp irritation ( At site of application ) and extreme skin dryness on face, ears. No hair loss prevention or growth seen.

This must be a new site, no reviews yet. I took the advice of one of my friends and tried Rogaine for 4 months now. I did notice some drying of my scalp but decided I could live with it. The best thing is I am noticing less hairs in the sink and I can see some small peach fuzz hairs taking on a bit of color. I'm going to hang in there and hope the trend continues.
